Owner and Licensed Professional Counselor

I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Syracuse University in 2014. I completed my undergraduate work at Taylor University in 2010, where I earned my BA in Psychology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. I am board-certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), and I am certified by Postpartum Support International as a Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C).

I founded Flourish Counseling in 2018. In the early days of the Covid pandemic, I gave birth to my daughter. In a time where not only was my world changing, but the world as a whole was changing, I developed a passion for working in the perinatal sector. I am dedicated to supporting mothers as they navigate this life transition, whether that be coping with pregnancy, processing infertility and loss, or addressing postpartum mood concerns.

When Iā€™m not working, I can often be found savoring a big cup of coffee with my nose deep in a good book. I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and pets, being creative, and exploring as many national parks as possible.
